Refund and Cancellation Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to paid memberships for the Drop The Hands application and services (“DTH,” “we,” “us”), operated by E.B. Mitchell Golf Inc. This Policy is incorporated into and governed by our Terms of Use (dropthehands.ai/terms). Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Use.

1. Free trial

New members receive a 21-day free trial. The trial runs for 21 days from the day you start it — how many rounds you play during the trial makes no difference to when it ends. You will not be charged during the trial period.

• Approximately 7 days before your trial ends, we will send a reminder that your trial is expiring and that your payment method on file will be charged.
• You may cancel at any time before the trial ends and you will not be charged.
• If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your membership begins automatically and your payment method will be charged the annual membership fee.

2. Billing

• Founding Membership is billed annually at $25.00 USD per year (plus applicable taxes), charged to the payment method you provide.
• Founding members keep the $25 rate for as long as the membership remains active. It does not increase at renewal. See the founding rate lock (dropthehands.ai/pricing#lock).
• Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe, Inc. We do not store your full card details.
• Your membership renews automatically each year on your renewal date unless you cancel before that date. Your renewal date and the amount are shown in your account settings (dropthehands.ai/account).
• If a payment fails, you keep access for 7 days while we retry. If it has not gone through by then, the membership ends.
• Prices are quoted in U.S. dollars and memberships are available in the United States only.

3. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time in your account settings (dropthehands.ai/account), or by emailing support@dropthehands.ai. You do not need to give a reason, and cancelling takes no more steps than signing up did.

• Cancellation stops future renewal charges.
• After cancellation, you retain access to paid features through the end of your current paid membership year. Your account then reverts to limited access.
• Cancelling does not automatically entitle you to a refund of fees already paid.

Cancelling your membership and deleting your account are different things. Deleting your account also cancels any active membership — see deleting your account (dropthehands.ai/account#delete).

4. Refunds

All fees are non-refundable except as described in this Policy or where required by applicable law.

We review refund requests on a case-by-case basis and may, at our sole discretion, issue a full or partial refund. Circumstances in which we will generally grant a refund include:

• Billing errors — you were charged in error, charged twice, or charged an incorrect amount.
• Unauthorized charges — a charge was made without the account holder’s authorization (subject to verification).
• Service failure — a verified technical issue on our end materially prevented you from using the service, and we were unable to resolve it within a reasonable time.

Circumstances in which refunds are generally not granted include: forgetting to cancel before the trial or a renewal charge, partial use of a membership year, dissatisfaction with features that function as described, or violations of our Terms of Use (dropthehands.ai/terms) resulting in account suspension or termination.

Refunds are not prorated. Where a discretionary refund is granted for a renewal charge, it will typically be limited to requests made within 14 days of the charge with no material use of paid features after the charge date.

5. How to request a refund

Email support@dropthehands.ai from the email address on your account with:

1. The name on the account and your member number;
2. The date and amount of the charge; and
3. A brief description of the reason for your request.

We aim to respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

6. Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us before disputing it with your bank or card issuer — most issues can be resolved faster through support. We reserve the right to suspend accounts with pending payment disputes and to contest chargebacks we believe to be invalid.

7. Consumer law rights

Nothing in this Policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under the consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction. Where applicable law requires a refund, cooling-off period, or other remedy, that law controls.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted in the app or sent to the email on your account, and apply to charges made after the effective date of the change. The version in effect at the time of a charge governs that charge.
